In April of 2008 I began a year long journey to Vietnam. The following posts are journal entries documenting certain moments of travel.
The history of my future isn’t just a riot grrrl song. Me going to Vietnam is me finding part of my heritage, meeting some of my late mother’s family and connecting to a side of my blood that’s been a part of my character for as long as I’ve known.
After staying in 10 cities I’ve settled for the remainder of my stay in Saigon, a metropolis that is far larger than what I’m accustomed to but the variety and beauty of its scene and scape is enough to keep my ADHD occupied.
